YES!

I wrote a rather long reply this morning, expressing my concern that 
ACM is 'taking private' documents that
have been available on the web (Computer Structures, Thornton's 6600 
book...)

Is their concern trying to make back the money it's going to cost them 
to get the books OCR'ed?

I'm disappointed at the lukewarm response we've gotten from them in 
trying to get the all of the AFIPS
volumes released that I've scanned.

I really hope this doesn't turn into a battle between organizations 
aquiring rights to out of print
documents as a revenue stream vs people trying to get the information 
available freely.
